The calculations carried out in this microsite illustrate the number of people who are only 2 sneezes away (2 degrees of separation) from you during a 24-hour period.
Here is the calculation:
In the site, enter the number of people that you come across in 24 hours. Let's say your total after four questions is 250 people crossed. The site then subtracts the percentage of people vaccinated on the day you visit the site. To continue with our example, 20% of 250 would correspond to 50 people, so our result is 200 people. The next operation is to multiply this number by the average number of people whom the users of the site come across to simulate the 2 degrees of separation. Again, using our example, our result is 40 000 people potentially infected by you as the source, or 40 000 people that you could contaminate during the day.
